Along with Vice President Joe Bunt and Chief of Staff Cortney Christian, Grigg has spent much of his summer finding ways to improve life for the students of Boise State.

Two-year tentative contract reached for faculty

After over 15 months of negotiations and several threats of a strike, Portland State administrators and faculty have reached an agreement on faculty salaries.

The agreement is a two-year tentative contract from 2007-09 that will award the faculty an across-the-board salary increase ranging from 8.

This Friday, July 18, PSU Alumnus Joseph LeBaron will be sworn in at the Simon Benson House patio at 4 p.m. as the U.S. Ambassador to Qatar.



Interim President, Michael F. Reardon, will deliver presiding remarks while Paul De Muniz (PSU class of '72), Chief Justice of the Oregon Supreme Court, will administer the oath of office.

This year, those who waited are on the outside looking in.

The university closed its admis­sions process on May 2 this year, the earliest it has ever done so.
